2010 March Matness News and Notes

Hey everyone,
2010 March Matness is here!

Obviously, you have signed up or you would not be seeing this thread or post.


Here is how the tournament will work. Each match in the tournament will have it's own thread and in that thread will be a poll so you can vote on the winner of that specfic match-up.

Also, once the bracket is formed you can make predictions for each match-up as well as see how the tournament is pregressing. Prizes will be awarded for the Top 2 prediction winners . But you have to be in it, to win it.

All team nominations must be e-mailed/messaged to me by no later than March 22nd, 2010.

PLEASE, send me your 32 team nominations, right now! The teams must have been a team for a minimum of at least 6 months within the years of 1960-2010.

When you make nominations, make them as followed:

Steiner Brothers (91'-93')
Road Warriors (85'-87')
Dudley Boyz (97'-99')

I want this tournament to be fun. If I forget to mention or specify any parts please let me know. Comments and suggestions are welcome. If any of this confuses you, please let me know and I will try to explain in better detail.

Yo What's happening, everyone? I've been thinking about what city and venue should host this event. My vote goes The Tokyo Dome, Japan. Anyone else got any suggestions?

I have the following for cities/venues but I can change them if the majority rules.

Rounds 1-3
Atlanta, GA (The Omni)
Boston, MA (Boston Garden)
Dallas, TX (Sportatorium)
San Francisco, CA (Cow Palace)

3rd Round
Greensboro Coliseum (Greensboro, NC)

Final Four
Tokyo Dome (Tokyo, Japan)

Finals
MSG (NY city, NY)



Also, I was thinking, what does everyone think of when I post the polls for each match, those that want to can write a summary (or longer) of how they think that particular match would go?
